The installation of automatic lines for the treatment of urban solid waste allows the reduction of the waste amount to transport to the dumps, the selection of organic parts and the recovery of some recyclable materials.

The automation of presses for solid waste and recycling materials compaction requires a particular attention to the componentry technology choice, the constructive electric solutions, the human interface and the diagnostic, in order to allow not skilled workers the press management in a particularly hostile surroundings ( presence of dust, dirt, water).
